$100 Down will Buy a HUD Home

Perhaps one of the more exciting programs HUD offers is the $100 down payment. HUD calls this program a “sales incentive” and how much more incentive do you need than plunking a mere $100 down in order to secure a home?

The catch? The $100 down payment is only good for HUD homes bought with FHA financing. Also, the incentives vary from state to state so if you have any questions whether your area uses this program and what the applicable guidelines are, make sure you contact a knowledgeable HUD approved broker.
